What does enrichment cost?

Nothing extra. Enrichment is included in your plan, for both your existing customers and every new customer who orders. We add demographic identity that grounds your personas. There is no per-customer charge.

What is the historical enrichment fee, and how does annual billing waive it?

When you connect your store, we enrich your last 24 months of customers in one pass to build your initial personas. On monthly billing this one-time historical enrichment is a fee at signup. On annual billing we waive it entirely, and annual also includes 2 months free. Ongoing enrichment of new customers is always included, on every plan.

What happens if I hit my monthly limit?

Starter and Boost include a generous monthly allowance of persona and strategy conversations. Plus and Enterprise are unlimited within fair use. If a lower plan consistently reaches its allowance, that is usually the signal to move up.

Is the free plan really free?

Yes. Connect your store and see your real segments and a sample persona conversation in the GoAudience dashboard, with no credit card and no time limit. Free is for understanding your customers. The paid plans are where GoAudience acts: syncing personas and segments into your Klaviyo, building flows and campaigns, and working proactively against your goal.

Can I switch tiers?

Yes, anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

What if I want to cancel?

Cancel anytime from your account settings. Your data and personas are preserved for 30 days after cancellation, then deleted.

Why is pricing based on my revenue instead of my customer count?

Because revenue reflects the scale of work GoAudience does for you, and we read it directly from your connected Shopify store. It means a high-value brand with fewer customers is never mislabeled as a small account, and you never have to debate a customer count with us. The number is yours, and it is already in Shopify.

What counts as a persona and strategy conversation?

A conversation is one exchange with GoAudience, by chat or by voice, when you ask a question, get an answer, or have it build something for you. Starter and Boost include a generous monthly allowance. Plus and Enterprise are unlimited within fair use.

Can I add my team and my agency? Is there a seat limit?

No seat limits on any plan. Add your whole team and your agency to the workspace. If you run multiple brands, each brand is its own workspace and subscription, sized to that brand's revenue. Cross-brand intelligence connects them so you can compare customers and performance across your portfolio.
How it works

How is this different from Klaviyo's segmentation?

Klaviyo segments customers by attributes you define: opened an email, bought a product, hit a threshold. GoAudience generates personas that combine demographic data, behavioral data, and dimension tags from across your stack, then lets you talk to them. Different layer of intelligence. Klaviyo handles segmentation and activation. GoAudience tells you who your customers actually are and helps you decide what to send. The two are complementary, not competing.

Does this work if I do not use Klaviyo?

Right now, Klaviyo is required. We pull email engagement, dimension tags, and profile properties from Klaviyo to ground the persona conversation. Other ESP integrations are on our roadmap. If you are on a different ESP and interested, talk to us.

How is this different from RFM analysis?

RFM segments customers on three dimensions: how recently they bought, how often, and how much. GoAudience uses those signals as inputs, but the personas come from a richer space: demographic foundation from our enrichment layer, behavioral signals from Shopify, dimension tags from Klaviyo. Then you talk to them. RFM tells you which bucket a customer is in. Personas tell you who that customer actually is and what they would respond to.

How long until I see value?

A brand audit runs in minutes after you connect Shopify. Behavioral segments and customer movement appear immediately. Real personas, generated from your enriched customer data, take 24 to 48 hours after annual signup or initial historical enrichment. The first decision-relevant conversation happens the same week you connect.

What kind of brands does GoAudience work best for?

Shopify brands between $5M and $100M in revenue, with a center of gravity around $20M to $60M. The product is built for operators who want to move beyond audience targeting into customer intelligence. Brands below $5M can use the free tier. Brands above $100M usually need custom integrations and white-glove onboarding (Enterprise).
Data & privacy

Is my data private and secure?

Yes. Your customer data stays yours. We do not share or sell it. We do not train models on it. We sign DPAs on request and follow GDPR principles. SOC2 certification is on our roadmap. If you have a specific compliance question, talk to us.

Can I export my personas and data?

Yes. You can export your personas, the underlying customer cohorts, and any audience data we have generated. We do not believe in data lock-in. The reason you stay with us is the product gets better the longer you use it, not because leaving is hard.
