Plans & billing

What does "new customers enriched" actually mean?

When a customer makes their first order with you after subscribing, we enrich their record with demographic, behavioral, and lifestyle data that grounds your personas. Each new customer counts as one enrichment.

What is the historical enrichment fee, and how does annual billing waive it?

When you connect your store, we enrich your last 12 months of customers in one pass. That is what populates your initial personas. On monthly billing, this one-time historical enrichment is billed at your tier's per-customer rate. On annual billing, we waive it entirely. That is the strongest reason to commit annually: depending on your customer base size, the waived fee can cover several months of your subscription.

What happens if I hit my monthly limit?

On Starter, Boost, and Plus, we pause new enrichments until the next month or until you upgrade, whichever comes first. Your existing data and personas stay intact. On Enterprise, we keep enriching at $0.04 per customer above your limit, no renegotiation needed.

Is the free plan really free?

Yes. No credit card, no expiration, no usage limit on segments or the sample persona conversation. The free plan generates real value on your real data. The persona layer is what unlocks at the paid tiers.

Can I switch tiers?

Yes, anytime. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

What if I want to cancel?

Cancel anytime from your account settings. Your data and personas are preserved for 30 days after cancellation, then deleted.
How it works

How is this different from Klaviyo's segmentation?

Klaviyo segments customers by attributes you define: opened an email, bought a product, hit a threshold. GoAudience generates personas that combine demographic data, behavioral data, and dimension tags from across your stack, then lets you talk to them. Different layer of intelligence. Klaviyo handles segmentation and activation. GoAudience tells you who your customers actually are and helps you decide what to send. The two are complementary, not competing.

Does this work if I do not use Klaviyo?

Right now, Klaviyo is required. We pull email engagement, dimension tags, and profile properties from Klaviyo to ground the persona conversation. Other ESP integrations are on our roadmap. If you are on a different ESP and interested, talk to us.

How is this different from RFM analysis?

RFM segments customers on three dimensions: how recently they bought, how often, and how much. GoAudience uses those signals as inputs, but the personas come from a richer space: demographic foundation from Experian, behavioral signals from Shopify, dimension tags from Klaviyo. Then you talk to them. RFM tells you which bucket a customer is in. Personas tell you who that customer actually is and what they would respond to.

How long until I see value?

A brand audit runs in minutes after you connect Shopify. Behavioral segments and customer movement appear immediately. Real personas, generated from your enriched customer data, take 24 to 48 hours after annual signup or initial historical enrichment. The first decision-relevant conversation happens the same week you connect.

What kind of brands does GoAudience work best for?

Shopify brands between $5M and $100M in revenue, with a center of gravity around $20M to $60M. The product is built for operators who want to move beyond audience targeting into customer intelligence. Brands below $5M can use the free tier. Brands above $100M usually need custom integrations and white-glove onboarding (Enterprise).
Data & privacy

Is my data private and secure?

Yes. Your customer data stays yours. We do not share or sell it. We do not train models on it. We sign DPAs on request and follow GDPR principles. SOC2 certification is on our roadmap. If you have a specific compliance question, talk to us.

Can I export my personas and data?

Yes. You can export your personas, the underlying customer cohorts, and any audience data we have generated. We do not believe in data lock-in. The reason you stay with us is the product gets better the longer you use it, not because leaving is hard.
